Applicants will be assigned their own ID numbers, which when using the
ratings software will identify each "viewer".
The software runs in the background and has a small memory footprint.
The software is designed to resist publishing information that has been
artificially created.
The software publishing the information into a database which is checked
for errors and data integrity, then the information is imported into our
analysis tabulator which produces the actual ratings results.
A total of 130,000 applicants will be selected to take part in the program.
This is higher than the traditional test pool in regard to TV data, however
there are significantly greater number of websites than TV stations.
The actual data collecting will start at random times each different from
viewer to viewer, thus avoiding a change in the viewing behavior.
Accuracy is crucial in order to get a proper reading of the information.
